Carmelized Apples

YEILDS 1 QUARTS

  • 12 APPLES (PEELED AND CORED)
  • 2 CUPS SUGAR
  • ΒΌ CUP CINNAMON
  • 1 TSP LEMON JUICE

PEEL AND CORE 12 GOOD SIZED APPLES.
SLICE APPLES INTO THICK WEDGES.
IN A LARGE SAUCE PAN COMBINE APPLE WEDGES CINAMON SUGAR AND JUICE.
SIMMER ON LOW HEAT UNTIL APPLES RELEASE ENOUGH JUICE TO FORM A THICK SAUCE.

**Note do not over cook the apples they should still have some bite.
