Zebra guidewires are suitable for:
This product is suitable for gastroenterology, endoscopy center, respiratory department, urology department, interventional department, and can be used in conjunction with an endoscope to guide or introduce other instruments into the digestive system, urinary system or airway .
In clinical practice, zebra guidewires are often used in combination with endoscopes, mainly for the diagnosis and treatment of non-vascular cavities of the digestive tract, airway, urinary system and other diseases, such as ERCP (endoscopic retrograde pancreaticobiliary angiography), non-vascular cavitary angioplasty, stone removal and foreign body removal. Because zebra guidewires have a great influence on the success of surgery, they are also known as the "lifeline" in endoscopic interventional surgery.
Guidewire characteristics introduction :
1. Tip hardness: refers to the ability of the guide wire tip to resist pressure while maintaining a normal shape. The greater the hardness of the tip, the stronger the ability of the guide wire to penetrate occluded lesions, but the higher the risk of vascular perforation.
2. Torque control: The ability of the guidewire tip to follow the operator's rotation of the proximal end of the guidewire, and the ability of the guidewire as a whole to transmit torque (the goal is 1:1 conduction).
3. Pushability: The ability of the guide wire to pass through the lesion under the control of the operator’s external push rod.
4. Flexibility: The ability of the guidewire to adapt to the curvature of the lumen.
5. Support force: The ability of the guidewire to remain stable in the cavity when pushing the instrument into and through the lesion.
6. Visibility: The guidewire is partially opaque to radiopaque radiation, which facilitates the positioning of the guidewire in the body and helps the operator identify the direction of the guidewire and its position in the coronary cavity.
7. Tactile feedback: The operator feels the guide wire tip contacting an object and the feedback of the object's properties from the proximal end of the guide wire.
In minimally invasive interventional surgery, "guidewires and catheters" are two very important partners. Among them, the guidewire is the first step in the whole process. It is precisely because of the guidewire inserted into the human body cavity "as a track" that the subsequent catheters and instruments can arrive smoothly and safely.
Features:
? PTFE coating, excellent lubricity, easy to pass through the cavity ;
?Gradual structure design, easy to pass through twists and restricted areas;
?The tip of the guide wire is flexible to prevent tissue damage;
?The blue and white or yellow and black spiral stripes design makes it easy to judge the movement of the guide wire under endoscopy .
?External coil protection to prevent the guidewire from being damaged during transportation
